Greetings, I'm Chiharu Dawn. From Riverside, California. I'm a very diverse artist that seems to want to do it all or as much as I can. I'm a big comic book and anime fan (OTAKU), beginner model, and lover of all things geeky. I specialize in cartoon and anime style animation doodles both traditional and digital. I tend to write poems and stories for the characters I conjure up. I'm trained in both cosmetology and nail care, so I can cut/style hair and wigs as well as create fantastic nail art.

Cosplay and costuming is one of my rather expensive hobbies, but enjoyable none the less. I've been cosplaying since middle school (2006-08) and throughout high school, but just recently started cosplaying a bit more than usual and I really would like to broaden my cosplay horizons. I attend as many conventions and events as possible: Anime L.A., Anime Expo, Anime Impulse, Comic Con, etc. So far, it's at least one to two conventions a year.

I would like to take my passion and love of art to the next level. I've always been involved in the cosplay community and I always admired all these wonderful people, as someone who is so invested into this hectic lifestyle. I'm an administrator of the I.E. Riverside Cosplay Community and participate in charity events for Adopt a Family, Cosplay for a Cause, and Random Acts of Kindness. Lolita fashion is a lifestyle... well, I'm getting there.
